Thanks for stopping by.
Some of my friends have asked me why I would create a blog with the word gibberish in it because it denotes something “less of” or silly even. I’ve been told that if I state that my writing is gibberish, then in effect, I am putting myself down and no one will bother with reading my thoughts or sharing. They have a point.
I just wanted it to be fun. If I don’t take myself too seriously and enjoy this journey, the possibilities are endless. Putting my reactions and ideas down mostly to connect, not just with you but also with myself. I have always loved writing. I have kept a journal since I was ten years old. Throughout my life, I have filled many exercise books with hand written stories and ideas and it has always been something that I have been passionate about. I didn’t just keep them to myself either. My sister and a number of close friends always shared them with me and they would constantly pester me for the more. I enjoyed watching their reactions, sometimes seeing them laugh. I figured that it was time. Not only can writing be therapeutic, for me it is immediate proof of our ability to create. I love reading the words of others. I find it a privilege that I was invited into another person’s most powerful realm – the mind. Be it a book, an article, a blog or even a tweet! It is connection and on some days, it’s exactly what the doctor ordered.
